Maximising capacity and driving interoperability
The European rail network is operating at close to maximum capacity. Traditional signalling and train control systems limit the frequency of trains and hamper interoperability. This results in high costs and an inefficient use of network capacity. With increasing passenger and freight traffic, these problems must be solved.
Signalling and Train Control 2010 will bring together senior signalling and train control managers and project leaders from rail infrastructure managers, train operating companies and suppliers. The industry’s leading innovators will discuss system requirements, technology selection and implementation and testing.
