Pete Waterman
Pop impresario and railway entrepreneur, Pete Waterman, is to host the rapidly growing RailStaff Awards once again this coming November.
Pete Waterman started his working life as a locomotive fireman and went on to build a successful career as a disc jockey and music writer. Songs by Pete Waterman have been responsible for 22 number one hits in Britain. Despite the pressures of the rock business Mr Waterman has never forgotten railways and remains a firm supporter. He is chairman of the London & North Western Railway Co. Ltd. founded in 1993. Based in Crewe LNWR offers repair and maintenance services for commercial trains companies.

Starter
Tartare of candied melon, papaya and basil leaf, ricotta and pineapple strudel.
Main
Chicken breast flavoured with fresh ground basil in olive oil, parisienne potatoes, creamed cabbage finished with crackling of parma ham and a madeira wine sauce.
(vegetarian option) - Root vegetable pie with a polenta crust.
Dessert
Baked chocolate tart, clotted cream and soft fruits.
