Worcestershire County Council has released images showing the progress on Worcestershire Parkway station.
The station’s steel frame, which will include a ticket office, toilets and a retail outlet, can now be seen and the footbridge over the Birmingham Gloucester railway is almost complete.

Platforms, which are being built off site, will be lifted into place next to the railway line towards the end of the year with the station set to open in 2019.
Rail passenger numbers through Worcestershire are set to increase by up to 97 per cent in the next 25 years, according to the council, and the new station will provide more frequent and quicker trains to London and Birmingham from the county.
