Rail services provider Dual Inventive hopes to create 32 jobs after upsizing into 18,000 sq ft at a new Doncaster business park as part of 10 year expansion plan.
The company, which uses technology to make improvements and efficiencies in the rail network, has moved from a 500 sq ft base in Doncaster to the new Kestrel Court development near Robin Hood Doncaster Sheffield Airport.
The impressive expansion for the Netherlands-headquartered business has already created eight new jobs in Doncaster but predicted growth means the company will grow to 40-strong in the near future.
Josh Jackson, director at Dual Inventive, said: “This upsizing was essential to our future growth. Demand for our products and services has risen sharply in the last 12 months and our UK team has already grown from two to eight. Our predicted growth means we will be looking at 40 staff members before long.
“We have chartered a vision for the next 10 years and set our sights on a rapid expansion. These are really exciting times. We already have a foothold in the market but are looking to substantially grow our share.”
Dual Inventive, which first opened a base in the UK in 2009 and has a £10m turnover, manufactures and sells hardware and software to increase rail capacity, plus offering service, maintenance and after sales packages.
Plans for the new unit, leased for 10 years, include extended office and warehouse space, an indoor section of rail track, an employee gym, social spaces and an auditorium for product launches and training sessions.
Josh added: “What attracted us to Kestrel Court was the location and the flexibility of the space.
“The infrastructure is so valuable for us. There are so many transport links here, access to a pool of highly qualified and relevant potential new employees in South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire, plus the heritage of Doncaster and the rail industry.
“But the capabilities of the space was key. We have really ambitious plans and we can tailor the unit exactly for our needs and be really imaginative to create the base we want.”
Kestrel Court on First Avenue, with its well-established industrial location near the airport and within close proximity to J3 M18, offers occupiers much needed industrial space for sale or to let. Two units remain at the site offering 13,600 and 16,100 sq ft.
