Dog lovers who want to take Fido to France or Loulou to Londres have launched a petition aimed at reversing Eurostar’s ban on dogs – only guide dogs can travel currently.
Canine campaigners Pets in Pyjamas hopes to get 100,000 signatures so that the subject will be debated in parliament. Cross-border collies could join homesick Alsatians in special kennel-carriages if the bid succeeds.
